Facility: Nurses Alumni Wing
Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, the Social Worker is supervised by the MSW SR on the multi-disciplinary team.   As a member of a multi-disciplinary team within Youth Mental Health & Addictions Services, the Social Worker provides mental health therapy to youth and families presenting with a range of disorders.  The Social Worker provides brief & multi-session individual and family therapy to address mental health problems and disorders in adolescents.  The Social worker also facilitates group therapy for adolescents and parents and collaborates with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.  The Social worker also collaborates with other health providers and agencies  as part of the treatment process.  Periodically, the Social Worker also assists with program planning, quality improvement initiatives and clinical supervision of practicum students.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
MSW with clinical supervised training in family therapy
MSW degree in Social Work with a focus on clinical work and supervised clinical experience with youth and families
Experience
One year clinically supervised experience providing youth and family therapy to adolescents in a community based mental health setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary setting and with colleagues in the community
Good organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and provide with youth and their families present
