Fidos Place is looking for an animal loving, reliable, and vibrant person who can handle early mornings and doggy drool.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the pet industry such as veterinary clinics, daycare, boarding and training operations. Grooming experience an asset.

Must be available early mornings, occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job tasks include (but are not limited to):
o Able to manage a large group of dogs (10-15)
o Be confident with all sizes and breeds of dogs
o Be physically fit to stand and be active 4-8 hours a day
o Knowledgeable in dog body language and communication
o Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment for pets and customers
o Provide excellent customer service to daycare, grooming and pet supply customers
o Check-in/out dogs in computer management system, process payments, and transfer pets to the owner from daycare or grooming area
o Complete cleaning duties as needed to meet the high sanitation requirements set out by management
o Maintain a confident, calm and professional attitude when interacting with the dogs and team members
o Any other duties assigned by management

Job assets:
o Previous work experience in an animal related role
o First Aid & CPR trained, both humans and pets
o Grooming experience
o Social Media experience

o Previous professional employment in the pet industry
