The YMCA of Regina is looking to add a full-time kitchen employee to our exceptional Food Services roster. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment while enhancing and delivering Food Services program objectives.  

Role & Responsibilities:  
- Practice food safety at all times; while preparing and storing food and cleaning supplies.
- Preparing healthy and age appropriate meals & snacks for Childcare Centres according to YMCA menus.
- Cleaning childcare kitchen, carts, dishes and food storage areas according to Public Health Standards.  
- Cleaning  kitchen, dishes, carts and food storage areas according to Public Health Standards.  
- Handling stock and organizing food delivery; may include occasionally lifting up to 40lbs.
- Providing professional and high-quality customer service at the YMCA Community Caf.
- Maintain accurate food order sheets and stock lists,
- Communicate ongoing Food Services needs to the Director.
- Complete and comply with all YMCA Policies and Procedures (YMCA Child Protection & Clean Culture)  
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director or Food Services

Job Requirements:
- Foodsafe level 1, or willing to obtain and renew every three years, or as needed.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Criminal Record Check (CRC) including vulnerable sector check, dated within 3 months of hire
- Three (3) professional references who can attest to your incredible personal training abilities.
