The Financial Analyst - Investments reports into the Manager of Investments within the Investments group at the Brandt Group of Companies.  The Financial Analyst works on key projects in mergers & acquisitions, investment analysis and corporate finance.  This position may require some travel, but is primarily working with the corporate team at Brandts Head Office in Regina.

Required Skills

Perform detailed, fundamental analysis on companies, including analyzing financial statements, preparing financial models for target valuation, studying industry characteristics and trends, meeting with management, visiting company sites, etc.
Assist in preparing reports and delivering presentations to senior management on various opportunities.
Assist in due diligence  support the team across the various due diligence work streams, helping to assess key investment merits and risks (financial, commercial, legal, structuring, tax, and other work streams).
Assist in the development of performance return information (e.g. IRR, total return, etc.) for existing businesses, as well as acquisitions, by business segment, and prepare various management reports.
