The Role:
Undertake all client-facing activities, actively seek out new business, and promote the company brand within the local market
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of his/her designated sites
Take accountability for project costs, ensuring estimates are not exceeded
Maintain open communication with the sales/estimating/preconstruction departments to determine project specifics
Provide weekly reports utilizing several Key Performance Indicators
Coordinate human resources and project schedules with relevant team members
Liaise with client to confirm site-specific conditions and relay information as necessary
Ensure all change notices are priced accurately and promptly and follow-up with clients regarding approvals
Conduct safety reviews and reports as per company policy and/or as requested by Safety Manager
Ensure project timelines are maintained
Procure labour as required and approve timesheets & subcontractor invoices
Required education experience, and abilities:
Minimum 3-5 years construction management experience or 5-7 years experience running site crews
Minimum five years trades experience in commercial framing and drywall is required
Experience with MS Office Suite and general computer skills
Able to read and interpret shop drawings & construction blueprints
Knowledge of construction industry terms, procedures and practices
Proven track record of relationship-building and successful networking in the local industry
