What youll do:
Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-ops vision,
mission, values, brand and focus on safety
Perform outstanding guest service in the home centre and on the telephone
Assist guests with item selection and make product recommendations based on an inquiring approach
Prepare estimates and quotes on a variety of building materials projects
Perform general housekeeping duties, receiving of merchandise, stocking shelves, operating till systems,
shovelling snow and spreading salt/sand
Maintain cleanliness, rotation and order of merchandise in the store, yard and shed areas and to assist
with loading products into customers vehicles as required
Assist with inventory counts and control procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is an asset
You have knowledge of building materials products and builders hardware and are passionate about
home renovations and repairs
You are skilled with math and have experience quoting and estimating building projects
Youre well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
You have a valid drivers license and must be willing to obtain forklift ticket and propane dispensing
certification and work a weekend rotation
