The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, Fleet Services, is seeking a Journeyperson Mechanic to work out of its La Ronge Satellite Shop. In the event there are no qualified applicants for the La Ronge vacancy, Fleet services may consider applicants for the Prince Albert shop.

Under the general direction of the Service Supervisor, you will provide customer repair services to Fleet Services clients. This includes mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance inspections to all types of trucks, highway construction and maintenance equipment, with services performed in the shop and field. Travel is required with the possibility of overnight stays.

To qualify for this position, you will possess a valid Journeyperson Certificate recognized by the Province of Saskatchewan. You will also possess a valid Class 3A operator's license or you will need the ability to upgrade from a class 5 to the 3A within the probationary period.
