With over 75 years serving the automotive, body shop, agricultural, fleet & industrial markets, Auto Electric Service Ltd is southern Saskatchewan's largest locally owned & operated automotive parts warehouse. We service retail and wholesale markets with parts stores located in Regina, Yorkton, Estevan, & Weyburn. We are accepting resumes for an experienced, motivated, career-minded Parts Counter Sales Person in our Weyburn Store.  

Job Duties
Sell parts, provide quotes and information to customers, over the counter, over the phone, or electronically

Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion sales, & ensure the customer is aware of product options

Participate in training sessions offered by the company

Obtain the information needed to place special orders and ensure the correct parts are sent
Research the availability of parts, either within the organization or from other sources, and must be able to search part numbers using the computer or catalogues

Use inventory information on a computer and locate parts by checking part numbers and location of bins

Communicate clearly in person, on the phone and also be willing to initiate calls to customers to give and receive information

Be alert to sales opportunities by taking the time to ask customer questions & provide information

Process returned new products back into stock

Process payment transactions and handle cash

Ensure overall cleanliness of the store, inventory, displays & outside areas

Protect and maintain the security of store assets

Skills & Qualifications:

Automotive knowledge/background

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt

Industrial, Agriculture, and Paint experience is an asset

Strong computer skills

Outstanding customer service & communication skills

Able to lift up to 50 lbs
