The LaLoche Housing Authority is seeking a versatile individual for the term position of Maintenance Worker. LaLoche Housing Authority provides social housing to low-income seniors, families, and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter within LaLoche and the neighboring communities.

What you'll do:
-building maintenance - service and repair
-vacancy preparation
-grounds maintenance
-maintain housing authority equipment and inventory
What were looking for:
-experience repairing building mechanical equipment; custodial and maintenance work
-knowledge in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, heating, mechanical, painting, electrical, and grounds work
-ability to promote and participate in positive working relationships with management, staff, and tenants
-ability to lift heavy loads
-basic computer skills
What you'll need:
-Minimum Grade 12 education, supplemented by formal training in a technical or building trade (carpentry, plumbing, electrical)
-1 to 3 years experience in a maintenance & repair environment OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
-A valid drivers license and a suitable, roadworthy vehicle
This is a term position for approximately 4 months with the possibility of extension based on business need.
