Job Overview:
-Operate welding machine, torch, hand drills, and grinders
-Perform daily maintenance of equipment
-Perform tasks with detailed accuracy
-Follow work instructions and blueprints
-Maintain good housekeeping practices
-Attend all flipchart meetings
-Comply with the Occupation Health and Safety Act and Regulations
-Perform other tasks as assigned by the Lead Hand, Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager
-Ensure all tasks are performed with the highest regard for safety, as outlined in our Safety Manual
-Ensure quality is inherent in all tasks performed
Requirements:
-Minimum of grade 12 completed, or equivalent
-Additional education and skills training is preferred
-Previous production experience is preferred
-Familiarity with basic tools and mechanically inclined
-Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
-Adequate reading and writing skills
-Take accurate measurements and data recording
-Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
