We are currently looking for two (2) full-time contact lens and dispensing technicians to help ensure excellent patient care as part of our eyecare team. These positions are both 18-month term positions with the possibility of becoming permanent positions.
Duties include assisting patients with contact lens training, providing patients information regarding contact lenses, maintaining contact lens inventory, assisting patients with frame and lens section, glasses adjustments and pickups, and product ordering. Some administrative skills are also needed, as duties will include data entry, taking payments, booking appointments, answering phone calls, and submitting insurance claims electronically. You will work closely with our Optometrists and Licensed Opticians to provide patient care.
You must be reliable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You also must be able to learn new tasks and balance responsibilities. No experience is necessary but any previous contact lens or dispensing training would be considered an asset. The willingness to learn new skills is essential!
