Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Develop analytics components like dashboards with complex data set and different types of reports such as drill through, cross tab, using data loaded inside Justice Data Warehouse (JDW).
    Develop analytics outputs that will play a key role in both operational and strategic decision making by senior executives, facility directors and the front-line staff.
    Working independently and collaborate with other resources as needed to develop outcomes in alignment with the organizations priorities and expectations.

Mandatory Qualifications:
    Demonstrated report development experience at a senior level using Cognos Version 11 or higher and its components such as Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio etc.
    Senior level experience with data warehouse, report and dashboards development using dimensional and relational databases, database querying techniques, and data analysis, data mapping and problem solving with complex data sets using various tools and techniques.
    Senior level experience in data validation and accuracy of data between reports/dashboard and sources such as database, spreadsheets etc.
    Available to work fulltime and onsite at a clients office in Regina, SK

Desired Qualifications:
    Demonstrated senior level experience in documenting complex business processes in a legible manner and communicating with customers, business experts, sponsors and other IT experts.
    Demonstrated senior level experience working with different functional teams including ETL developers, Data Modellers, Architects, PM, BA and other senior/junior report developers.
    Demonstrated query or report performance tuning experience.
    Demonstrated experience with knowledge transfer including documenting the user manuals, and leading the knowledge transition to employees.
