JOB TITLE: TRUCK DRIVER SUPERVISOR
D&G Logistics is currently seeking for the Truck Driver Supervisor for their company
Vacancies- 1
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary:
$25/hr
35-40hr/week
Must have Class 1A Licence

Location: Regina, SK

Terms of employment:
Permanent, full-time
Applicant must be willing to work any shifts and weekends if required

Skills:
Ability to supervise group of 5 to 6 drivers.
Must be familiar with computer applications such as MS Office.
Fluent in English.
Co-ordinate with customers.

Major Work Area:
Truck Trailer and Yards

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the operations of vehicles for transporting goods.
Provide daily supervision of employees involving scheduling, monitoring and evaluating performance and productivity.
Review and approve employee time sheets and field tickets.
Ensure all regulatory methods, such as DOT and company policies and procedures are observed and followed.
Provide training to new drivers to ensure they understand all rules and regulation as well as safety requirements and company policies.
Co-ordinate the transport of material and product to and from yards and work location.
Supervise the delivery of goods as scheduled.
Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Trucking Supervisor must pass pre-employment tests and have valid Class 1 licence that meets company insurance driver criteria in order to be an approved driver.

Preferred Qualification:
College degree or university diploma
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Good customer relation skills.
Ability to solve problems and decision making.
Excellent safety awareness.
Ability to manage and solve conflicts.
Leadership and supervisory skills.
