An employee in this temporary student placement position will provide technical support for a variety of field and/or office assignments within the Infrastructure Planning Group, assisting with the Asset Management, Maintenance Management and Capital Planning for our provincial water management infrastructure. Typical duties and responsibilities may include:
Assist with the development and implementation of an Asset Management Program, including Life Cycle Costing, Levels of Service and Asset Conditions.
Assist with the scoping, development and implementation of a Maintenance Management Program, Including asset registries, planned maintenance, work order systems and inventory control.
Assist with the planning and prioritization of the capital budget and 10 year rolling capital plan for all water management infrastructure across Saskatchewan.
Assist with and/or perform relevant technical calculations in both the field and office; and
Assist with preparing applicable reports, and technical documentation.
Work may require travel to the field. Travel, sustenance, and accommodations will be provided when required to work away from headquarters. Applicants will require a valid drivers license.
Applicants should be enrolled in and Engineering Degree Program. Applicants require knowledge of MS Office Suite, skill in written and verbal communications, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
