An employee in this temporary student placement position will provide technical support for a variety of field and/or office assignments within a water resource management discipline as follows:
Assist with preliminary, construction and post construction surveys in accordance with established engineering procedures and practices;
Assist with conducting field investigations and inspections, including assisting with the evaluation of environmental and topographic conditions;
Assist with and/or perform relevant technical calculations in both the field and office;
Assist with preparing applicable reports, technical documentation, and drawings; and
Assist in undertaking maintenance/ operations of corporate equipment and facilities.

Work may require considerable travel, an irregular work schedule and, on occasion, extended absences from headquarters. Travel, sustenance, and accommodations will be provided when required to work away from headquarters.

Applicants should be enrolled in one of following engineering technology co-operative education programs: Civil, Environmental, Water Resources or Geomatics and Surveying Engineering Technology. Applicants will require a valid drivers license.
