ULS is currently looking for several Full time Landscape Labourers to work in Saskatoon within the Snow Removal division. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, mainly snow removal (manual or small handheld equipment) in winter for industrial, municipal, and, commercial properties, while providing exceptional customer service. Our winter term is 40 hours guaranteed pay per week if working full time.
Responsibilities
Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
Working in accordance with ULS policies and procedures
Providing exceptional customer service
Manual snow removal
Basic/Required Qualifications
Valid Drivers License (class 5) and ability to provide copy of drivers abstract
Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
All successfully candidates must provide a recent criminal record check as part of employment
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset
Ability to take direction, give direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
Physically Demanding position
Significant standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling
Repetitive Motions
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 100 lbs
