Job Description: Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes good public relations and participates, as required, in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
At least two years of recent experience in community nursing and/or at least two years of a broad generalist background. Ventilator and Tracheotomy experience would be considered an asset. Experience working in Pediatrics, NICU, PICU would be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel both within the region and provincially

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
In a 6 week rotation: 19 shifts of 8.00 hours
