Facility: Royal University Hospital
Job Description: The Senior Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of both adult and pediatric patients/clients with metabolic disorders requiring treatment by diet modification. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care, and arrangement of follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. The incumbent also assists the Nurse Coordinator in triaging clients for clinic appointments. The incumbent reports to the Clinical Services Coordinator of the Alvin Buckwold Child Development Program, Children's Health Services.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
Minimum of two years of recent clinical nutrition experience is required & Experience in nutrition care of clients with metabolic disorders is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Knowledge of the health region and community resources
Effective oral and written communication skills
