We are hiring a Service Advisor/Writer to cover a Maternity leave from Feb 2021 to March 2022.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and comfortable with autos and basic mechanical knowledge.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is the face of the service department. The Service Advisor acts as the liaison for the customer to ensure the customer receives an exceptional experience while maintaining the overall goals and objectives of the dealership. The scope of the job includes all service-related activities from the time of booking through to customer follow up.
The Service Advisor ensures the vehicle is fixed right the first time by fully understanding the customers needs and accurately documenting them on the repair order. They are also responsible to advise customers on required and suggested maintenance and repairs, the costs associated and provide options for scheduling those services. The Service Advisor ensures the customer is well informed of work performed, the reason for the repair and the costs associated with the repair.
