Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH/MENTAL HEALTH
Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Mental Health and Addicitions.  The incumbent will work with clients with chronic and persistent mental illnesses in a community setting using case management and recovery models of care.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
RPN or RN with one year Mental Health.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Counseling skills
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Assessment skills
Time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, DSM IV, and The Family Services Act, Mental Health Approved Home Policy and Regulations, Social Assistance Program Regulations, Regional Health Policies, RPNAS Code of Ethics, and Rehabilitation Program Guidelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC & VSC during recruitment and selection process.
