Description

Position Overview:  
Located in our Central Office in Regina, SK, the successful candidate will join SAMAs Information Services Branch as a Programmer Analyst in this full-time, permanent position.  

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Information Services Applications, the Programmer Analysts responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing development, enhancement and maintenance services for the Agencys custom and commercial applications.
Providing application support and technical assistance for the Agencys various computer application systems.
Providing custom reports and data extracts.
Providing end user support.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
University degree in a related field or;
Diploma in business information systems and two (2) years experience;
Demonstrated software skills using C#, Visual Basic, .Net, Python, SQL, and Crystal Reports.
Working knowledge of GIS systems and mapping software including ESRI ArcGIS products.
Good problem-solving skills, time management, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

A skills assessment/performance test will be used to assess candidate knowledge and experience.
