Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the manager of IT services, you will join a high-energy, customer focused team responsible for delivering IT services to Cameco.
Your primary role will be providing support for all desktop, software, and hardware issues, in addition to maintenance and support of computer equipment and mobile devices situated at our northern Cigar Lake operation. You have the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues and escalate tickets that require higher level support for final resolution. You will also provide subject matter expertise and contributions into the planning and execution of various business technology services (BTS) projects as required.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Diploma in information technology or in a related technical field
A minimum of five years of experience in an IT support environment
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Demonstrated experience providing outstanding customer service and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of IT service delivery models and principals
Strong understanding of application systems and hardware for timely resolution of client related issues
Microsoft Certification
You will work a 7-day-in/7-day-out rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft
Assets:
Experience with Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft Office products, Apple, Dell, Microsoft and HP hardware
ITIL, Help Desk Institute certification
