Description

The Production/Manufacturing Associate is responsible for harvesting mature cannabis plants, trimming (via automated equipment or by hand) and/or operating trimming equipment, cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, drying and packaging dried goods.


Roles and Responsibilities:
-Harvesting and processing of cannabis
-Operate an automated trimming machine
-Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis
-Transporting cannabis between production environments in a sanitary fashion
-Accurately document all work performed as directed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
-Participate in the post-harvest sanitation; including appropriate disposal of plant materials and routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment
-Packaging and labelling
-Record keeping and data collection
-Work with the cleaning crew to clean all areas of the facility

Qualifications and Expectations:

-Team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, and quality
-Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
-1-2 years of experience working within a highly-regulated GPP/GMP/HACCP environment is an asset
-Previous experience working in cannabis cultivation is an asset
-Shift work and weekend work will be as needed
