Description

Applications are now being accepted for the following:

Cando Community School  Cando

Nutrition Coordinator  Permanent, 6 hours per school day, 190 days per year, commencing as soon as possible.

The successful candidates must hold a Food Safe Handling Certificate and possess the ability to plan and prepare daily snacks, meals and special events for students, following the Canada Food Guide.  The candidates will also organize the kitchen needs, prepare shopping lists in conjunction with distributors, work with students who are assigned to aid in meal preparation, and carry out additional duties.

The successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.
Preference will be given to individuals with qualifications and experience in meal service preparation.
The starting hourly wage for this position is $22.12. Benefits and a matched pension are available and in accordance with the current CUPE agreement.
