Description

The Ministry of Justice is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.

The Court Technology Unit (CTU) is responsible for providing technical computer support to the judiciary, including all Provincial Court and Queens Bench Judges and their support staff within Saskatchewan. The CTU is seeking a highly motivated and positive individual for the position of Judicial Desktop Support Analyst.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will: provide tier one and tier two support to the Judiciary; image, deploy, configure new computers and install various software applications; manage end-user devices (laptop, desktop, dictation units, printers, mobile phones); modify, expand, support and upgrade computer applications, systems and hardware for the courts; evaluate and develop technical solutions to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency for the Judiciary and court staff; manage and support Office 365 tenant including Email and File services for judges and judicial officers; manage and support the various Judicial networks and components, including switches, routers, security appliances and access points; manage and support the various server infrastructure within the Judiciary network; and develop relationships with the members of the Judiciary (Judges, managers, judicial and registry support staff) in order to help educate and provide support to everyone on the various technology used within the court system.
