The Role:
Assisting clients by identifying pragmatic, economical, and suitable options for solutions to water problems
Evaluating alternatives and selecting appropriate treatment processes and equipment
Preparing concept plans and preliminary designs for new infrastructure, rehabilitation, and retrofit projects

The Ideal Candidate:
Deep understanding of waterworks infrastructure relating to potable water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, including extensive prior experience with onsite inspections and assessments of treatment plants, lift stations, and lagoons
Strong verbal communication skills with the capacity for effective information-sharing both internally and with external partners.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
University Degree: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil or Environmental discipline)
Current P. Eng. registration within a Canadian jurisdiction
Have or be eligible for Permission to Consult (within 6 months of employment) in water and wastewater
10+ years of progressive experience in municipal services; planning, design and construction activities
Direct project management and construction management experience
Direct prior work experience with projects in water& wastewater treatment, and stormwater management
