Description

The position's main function is to lead their respective group in continuous improvement in safety, cost, quality and productivity by leading the use of Lean Manufacturing techniques. They will monitor their teams operation with particular focus on man, material, machine and method to detect any abnormalities and strive to improve the situation.

Responsibilities:
1.To monitor for and correct abnormalities from the standards in their area. This includes abnormalities in employees following standard processes, standard machine operation, product quality, and logistics management.  
2.To perform assigned Safety activities, including maintaining risk assessments, risk predictions, eliminating high and very high risks in their area.
3.To perform a variety of tasks acting as an operator, following all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions.
4.To monitor energy resources and take corrective steps to lower energy usage in order to meet energy targets for the plant.
5.To monitor Environmental activities such as waste collection and recycling and take corrective steps to meet Environmental targets for the plant.
6.To perform assigned activities, including conducting training, in order achieve the skill and knowledge targets for the department.
7.To achieve the quality targets for the department.
8.To achieve the efficiency targets for the department by performing a variety of activities.
9.To coordinate and conduct activities to reduce costs in the department in order to meet target.
10.To perform a variety of tasks acting as an operator, following all applicable policies, procedures, and working instructions.  
11.To effectively communicate within the department and internal customers groups through a range of platforms.
