Description

The Rural Municipality of Buffalo No. 409 is accepting applications for a Seasonal Maintenance/Patrol Operator. The season typically runs from approximately April to October each year.

Duties Include:
Mowing
Sign & Culvert Maintenance
Rock Picking
Shop Maintenance
Equipment Repairs

Skills & Abilities:
Experience in Heavy Equipment operations
Mechanical experience
Strong work ethic
Excellent time management
Strong communication & organizational skills
Work well with others

Candidate must possess:
Valid Class 5 drivers licence
Pesticide Applicators Licence or be willing to
   obtain
Class 3A or 1A licence would be considered an
   asset

You must be willing to obtain:
Power Mobile Equipment course
First Aid & CPR


The successful applicant will work under and report directly to the Foreman. Employment includes a great benefit package and enrollment in the Municipal Employees Pension Plan.
