LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of all outgoing shipments for all product lines.  The Logistics Coordinator converts sales orders into scheduled loads which includes planning and arranging of load shipments; liaising with sales, production and customers regarding full, partial and LTL shipments; as well as preparing bills of lading and packing slips.  In addition, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for some health & safety tasks including tracking, data entry and orientations.

This role requires:  
    Completion of an Office Administration Diploma or Certificate.
o    Combinations of experience and relevant courses will also be considered.
    Two to three years related shipping and receiving clerical experience;
o    Experience in a large office and/or manufacturing environment is an asset.
    Knowledge of practices and procedures related to H&S would be beneficial.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a requirement.
    Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, time and priority management are necessary for success.
    Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment; adapt to change and work under pressure.
    Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
