Description

The purpose of the Fibre Optics/Structured Wire Technician is to be part of a team of technicians installing fibre optic cables/structured wiring in various personal, business, and commercial settings.
What You Will be Doing:
Installing and/or pulling in fibre optic/coax/electrical cable.
Installing raceway moulding, conduit, emt.
Installing/removing temporary drop cables
Terminating and testing Fibre Optic Cables
Reading blueprints
Other duties as required.

Requirments:
Valid Drivers' License with clean driver's abstract.
Must be able to pass criminal record check
2+ years experience in a telecom or electrical installation environment
Willing to travel for contract work
Must be able to lift 50lbs

Nice to have:
Certificate/Diploma in a Fibre Optics Field.
Pre employment or apprenticeship in the Electrical Field.
