The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the maintenance and continual development of our established health and safety program.
While actively participating in and promoting this program, they will be responsible for various task(s), including but not limited to:
*Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
*Conducting and assisting with conducting workplace inspections.
*Assisting with incident investigations, near miss reporting, job hazard analysis and for recommending actions in order to ensure compliance.
*Providing advice regarding the development of safe and healthy practices.
*Required Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Health and Safety professional.
*Background in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically Pipeline Construction and Maintenance.
*NCSO designation preferred.
*Demonstrated knowledge of all applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
*Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Valid Safety Certifications.
*As travel is required, a valid Class 5 licence is necessary.
*Copies of all certifications indicating current validity and dates of expiration to be provided.
