Description

This is a 1 year term position, expected to last until February 2022.

In this position you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Your main duties will include:
- Leading the planning and implementation of projects, facilitating the definition of the project scope, goals and deliverables, developing the project plan, defining project tasks and resource requirements, assembling and coordinating project staff and third parties/vendors, managing the project budget and resource allocation, planning and scheduling project timelines, tracking project deliverables, providing direction and support to the project team, monitoring and reporting progress, presenting reports, defining project progress, problems and solutions, reporting and escalating to management as needed, and implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.  
- Helping the project team with the design and development of tasks, leading process of issue identification and resolution and performing risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establishing and managing the relationship with all stakeholders, project team and third-party vendors.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrating the values of the organization and working to achieve its mission and objectives.
- Ensuring adherence to all organizational policies and procedures including a demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.

Competencies for Success:
- Qualification in project management or equivalent.  Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.  Minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager.
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management.
- Proficient in project management software
- Clear Criminal Record Check is required
