Bourgault is currently looking for an Outside Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse team in St. Brieux, SK! In this position, you would be responsible for handling, moving, loading and unloading material using a forklift and ensuring the timely flow of material through production.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-shift inspection and identify potential future downtime.
- Perform minor repairs on equipment (ex. replace light).
- Report all breakdowns immediately to supervisor.
- Advise maintenance when it is time for service.
- Ensure that time is taken to clean and wash equipment.
- Ensure no damage is done to equipment and materials.
- Drive with caution at all times adhering to plant areas speed limit to prevent accidents.
- Effectively and efficiently work with co-workers in coordinating daily requirements.
- Strictly follow company inventory procedures
Qualifications:
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work safely
- Forklift experience
- Valid Drivers License
