Description

Working for the Saskatoon Housing Authority (SHA), the Programs Coordinator will provide assistance in the facilitation of recreational, education & social programs and services that enrich the lives of SHA tenants.  The position provides leadership, issues management and dispute resolution.  This position facilitates planning and delivery of wellness programs which promote an independent social lifestyle and monitors effectiveness.  The Coordinator establishes and maintains relationships with outside agencies and represents SHC/SHA in those partnerships.  The Programs Coordinator develops annual service plans, budgets and lease and/or contract renewals.  This position will research and apply for municipal, provincial and federal grant opportunities beneficial to tenant groups within SHA.  Accounting and reporting for external grant funding and tenant groups will be required.  The Coordinator will remain current in best practices and research in the field of recreation and wellness programs and services.

Excellent customer service skills are essential in this position.

This valuable position will develop and maintain positive working relationships with all tenants, staff and management of the housing authority.
