Description

Hipperson Construction is an established Regina based construction company serving the Saskatchewan market.  We require a Shop Foreman to maintain company assets, inventory and quality control  providing support to construction site personnel and office staff as needed.   This individual works effectively independently, is very organized, detail oriented, dependable, punctual and flexible.

Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain effective working relationships/communication with office and site personnel; suppliers; and service providers
    Keeps the shop clean, organized & safe from any hazards
    Practice & promote safety rules and regulations
    Organize and maintain tool and equipment inventories (i.e.- apply asset tags, log information)
    Maintain technical and product knowledge of purchased equipment and tools
    Ensure materials and equipment are in good working condition, have been inspected and repaired as per our preventative maintenance program
    Perform light maintenance & cleaning of company trucks when required
    Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance of tools, equipment and trucks with certified repair shops and equipment manufacturers ensure timely and cost-effective pricing and service
    Assist in mobilizing and de-mobilizing materials and equipment for projects
    Duties may vary as deemed necessary

Qualifications:
    Understands construction terminology and building processes
    Experience with tools and equipment is an asset
    PME certification is an asset
    Use of a computer software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills  verbal and written
    Must have a valid drivers license and be able to provide a drivers abstract.

Work Conditions
    Some travel to and from sites throughout Saskatchewan may also be required
    Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 25kg
    Shift work and overtime may be required
