Parkland College is seeking a term / part-time Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor at our Yorkton Main Campus. This 0.5 FTE (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday - Friday) term will begin ASAP until June 14, 2021.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This position is primarily responsible for providing instruction of Adult Education Level 3/Adult 10 courses prescribed by the Ministry of Education. Courses to instruct for this term include Communications 10 and Lifeworks 10.  This position will require the ability to use technology to instruct in a blended learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor of Education Degree and a Professional "A" Teaching Certificate.

-Registered or eligible to register with Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board.

-Two years of recent and relevant teaching experience with a preference for experience in an adult setting.

-To effectively deliver (or be willing to learn in order to effectively deliver) curriculum via a blended curriculum or online delivery model, as required utilizing the Brightspace Learning Management System.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
