Description

We are seeking a Manager of Data Science for Vendasta's Channel Partner division. Working alongside the Director of BI, they will develop and recommend divisional data strategies for governance, design, implementation, integration and usage.

Responsibilities
Maintain data integrity and models in the dedicated Google BigQuery data mart based on company policies
Maintain data integrity and models in visualization applications (Looker, DataStudio, Sheets)
Ensure clarity of all definitions and calculations of dimensions, measures, and metrics in the BI environment and maintain the Glossary
Help to maintain a backlog in the Jira application and provide sprint recommendations in support of projects in the divisional workload
Support ad hoc and/or urgent requests from various stakeholders within the division
Lead a team of analysts while collaborating with other divisional BI teams on a coherent strategy and execution plan

Qualifications
5-7 years experience with proven top-tier expertise in Business Intelligence and/or Data Science
University Bachelor's Degree
Proven experience in leading a team successfully and collaborating cross-functionally
Expert-level knowledge of SQL required; experience in the BigQuery database and Airflow preferred
Strong analytic capabilities, and written and oral communication skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity, develop plans, and successfully execute
