Description

Based in Emerald Park, SeedMaster is currently seeking an innovative, forward-thinking and results-oriented individual to join our team as the HR Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects related to Human Resources at SeedMaster including daily administrative tasks, recruitment, employee benefits programs, all aspects of payroll and benefits administration, record maintenance and providing information and support to employees. You need to be a conceptual thinker with organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
* The HR Manager will work very closely with the Finance Team to ensure Payroll is current and accurate
* Handle all aspects of Employee Engagement
* Administer WCB coordination, Employee Benefit Program and RRSP Programs
* Responsible for conducting all employee on-boarding and off-boarding
* Support all internal and external HR related inquiries and requests
* Develop and update policies, procedures, manuals and will have overall responsibility for the employee manual
* Will work very closely with all managers regarding the recruitment and interviews of new employees
* Work with managers to coordinate staff training and process the application of applicable grants
* Responsible for coordinating performance reviews and filing the results

Qualifications:
* Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Human Resources and a minimum of three years HR Management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals at varying levels within the organization
* Self-initiating with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to change
* Highly computer literate with strong proficiency in MS Office
