Description

Prairie Wind Estate Inc. is a 41 bed assisted living facility located in the community of Herbert, SK. It is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. We operate in Christian principals and values. Prairie Wind is currently seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee all operations, functions, and activities.

The Executive Director is a key leadership position and reports to the Board of Directors. The ED will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, financial programs, community engagement, fundraising, development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan.  We are looking for someone who has the skill and confidence to lead and empower our team of 25 employees in accomplishing the work of our Core Purpose Statement.

Qualifications:
- Agree with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada Statement of Faith
- A post secondary degree in a relevant field or significant non-profit management experience
- 5-7 years experience working in a senior leadership role in a non-profit organization (preferred)
- Experience working with a volunteer Board or Directors
- Understanding of Policy Governance
- Experience in staff supervision, accounting, public relations, community engagement and fund raising
- Have a working knowledge in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Outlook computer programs
- Have a working knowledge of pension plans and employee benefit plans
- Have a working knowledge of the following legislation:
  - Personal Care Home Act
  - Health Information Protection Act
  - Non-profit Corporations Act, 1995, of Saskatchewan
  - Saskatchewan Employment Act
