Turfcare Mission Statement

The Turfcare Department is dedicated to providing an unforgettable golf experience through exceptional customer service and quality golf course maintenance to give our Members and Guests "The Royal Treatment".

Royal Regina Golf Club is a semi-private golf club with over 500 members.  All golfers who play Royal Regina Golf Club have high expectations and require exceptional service levels.  Royal Regina is known for its history and takes pride in its course.  Our Turfcare team strives to meet and exceed the golfers's expectations.

Employees of the Royal Regina Turfcare Team assist in the care and management of the golf course and perform a wide variety of tasks.  As the Horticulturist, you will be relied on to perform all tasks in regards to supporting the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Mechanic, Assistant In Training and the rest of the team.  

These tasks include and are not limited to:
General maintenance of the beds on and off course
Cultural practices & product applications in regards to the plants needs
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for landscape management
Irrigation system use, repair, and maintenance for beds
Opportunity to lead teams through various projects
Diverse in helping with on course needs along with tending to beds
Operation of power equipment and proper safety procedures

Qualifications:
The Horticulturist has a minimum of 2 years experience, along with a diploma or degree in Horticulture or equivalent program.  This will be an hourly wage position with potential to extend past the end of season. Possible future year round employment.
