We are seeking an agile, quick-thinking leader who is decisive, analytical, and results-oriented. Working to improve and further develop an internal safety program, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing and overseeing health and safety policies, strategies, metrics, and processes.

The Role:
Planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of health and safety programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees
Conduct safety meetings, inspections, evaluations, audits, and follow-up assessments
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OH&S acts, regulations and codes, as well as organizational safe work policies, guidelines and procedures
Coordinate and/or deliver safety-related training for new and existing employees
Deliver health and safety coaching at all levels within the organization

Required Experience and Abilities:
5 7 years progressively responsible Health and Safety management experience in a civil construction setting, including experience with asphalt
CRSP or CHSC designation
Saskatchewan COR auditor certified
Deep understanding of the Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as WBC, COR, and ISN processes
