ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Order taking and review of field instructions
Attend commodity material movements involving loading and unloading of railcars or trucks.
Perform routine equipment calibration, verification, and function checks.
Perform visual observation, volume and temperature measurement, sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in railcars or trucks.
Verify and communicate the results obtained, and to make the entries into the appropriate media, whether print or electronic, required to ensure the validity and traceability of the information.
Maintain work areas, records, and equipment in a clean, organized, and functional condition.
Monitor supplies needed for above processes, make any needs for such supplies known to the Senior Inspector

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent; grasp of basic mathematics and computer skills
Proficient in Canadian Grain Grading
(1-2) years related experience preferred.
Valid drivers license
Reliable vehicle
Knowledge of specific product industry or technician level is an advantage
Good communication skills; both oorally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established deadlines.
Detail oriented with a dedication to the quality control and quality assurance process.
Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to multi-task and execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work.
Physically able to do the work required, cannot have a fear of heights or of confined spaces, must be able to work various hours and days to fulfill staffing requirements.
Positive attitude, a high tolerance for job pressure and the ability for working and communicating with persons of diverse personalities and backgrounds.
