Description

Brandt has a seasonal full time position available in the spring for a Gardener. This position will be responsible for maintaining and caring for flowers, shrubs and trees at a private residence.  Experience in design layout and planting a formal garden required. Additional duties include weeding, hedge and shrub pruning and edging, disease/pest identification, applying pesticides and fertilizers, maintaining garden areas (sweeping, leaf blowing), spring/fall cleanup, and other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years gardening experience, or be a student from a Horticulture or Turf grass program. Be a strong communicator with great leadership skills that can manage a team of 3-4 people. Able to adapt and problem solve. Be available to work some Saturdays. Preference will be given to those candidates who have prior experience working in a greenhouse.
