Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Landscape Maintenance Foreman-Golf & Grounds. This position will be responsible to properly care for and maintain the grounds of a private estate and golf course not open to the public.

Primary Duties:

Maintain the property at the highest quality to ensure healthy growth of all grasses, trees, wetlands and other applicable plant materials.
Apply fertilizer and pesticide applications
Responsible for seasonal start-up and shutdown of site
Provide irrigation maintenance and repair
Oversee the care and maintenance of golf greens, fairways, and roughs
Assist with the training and supervision of maintenance staff

Required Skill:

3+ years experience in landscape maintenance and/or golf course maintenance management
Diploma or certificate from a recognized turf management program would be an asset
Experience in landscape and/or golf course construction
Mechanical knowledge of turf grass equipment
Knowledge of fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as a valid spray licence  
Knowledge of use and operating standards of equipment and tools used in landscape/golf course construction and maintenance
Highly motivated, reliable, and hard working individual with strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work a Tuesday  Saturday shift in all weather conditions and capable of performing physically demanding work
Ability to be on-call outside of scheduled working hours
