Kwangton Cafe is currently seeking experienced Cooks for full time permanent positions in Moose Jaw. Kwangton Cafe is a well established Chinese restaurant with a great reputation. Compensation is negotiable.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Prepare and cook Chinese cuisine dishes to the highest quality as required by the restaurant
    Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
    Ensure all equipment used is well maintained, in good working order and to log any defects and report to Manager
    Ensure that a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen, to meet the required standards of practice
    Work with Manager and the culinary team to develop new menus and recipes for the restaurant
    Maintain an accurate stock control and check the quantity and quality of received products;
    Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
    Setup and oversee buffets
    Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
    Inspect and clean kitchen and work area

Skills / Experience Required
    Min 3 years of experience as a Cook or Chef is required
    Specializes in Cantonese style cuisine is preferred
    Self-disciplined
    Thrive in a fast-paced environment and comfortable multi-tasking
    Verbal fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be preferred
    Ability to hand deep fryer is preferred
