Description

Dynamo Electric is a design-build and maintenance-oriented company that specializes in power and control solutions for industrial and utility clients.  Within this niche market we can complete a broad scope of projects and services which allows us to be the complete technical solution provider for our clients.

Our Saskatoon office is looking for an Electrical Engineering student to assist our experienced engineering / technical staff. By joining our team, you will be exposed to industrial facility testing, maintenance, and repair of distribution equipment as well as automation and process control.

This is an exciting opportunity to see all the components you have spent years learning about, working together to supply power to an industrial process.  Gain valuable field experience on a wide variety of electrical systems, from high voltage to low voltage process control.  

Safety is a priority at Dynamo Electric.  You will become familiar with the safe work procedures required when testing and maintaining high and medium voltage electrical equipment.  

Responsibilities:
    Design, inspect, commission, test, maintain and repair electrical power and control systems, generators, transformers, breakers, protection relays and other equipment.
    Read technical, electrical, mechanical and instrumentation drawings.
    Maintain & develop customer service relationships.

Qualifications:
    In the process of obtaining a degree/diploma program in Electrical Engineering.
    Ability to work in various industrial environments.
    Possess strong organizational skills and work under tight time constraints, adapt to change, work alone, as well as flourish in a team environment.
    Preference will be given to candidates willing to work overtime and out of town.  Note that this is an hourly position and overtime will be paid at time and a half.
    CAD experience is preferred.
