We are currently recruiting for a Building Maintenance Manager/Chief Engineer at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre in Regina.
Position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operation and  providing our guests with a secure, comfortable environment. This position maintains the hotels assets through ongoing preventative maintenance programs and ensuring all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with brand standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team
- Maintain safe working conditions within the department and hotel by ensuring that all associates and contractors follow Health and Safety guidelines
- Ensure physical plant is operating in a safe, efficient orderly fashion
- Ensure the Engineering department operates within budget, offers recommendations etc.
- Make certain the necessary resources, function      tools and equipment are readily available
- Lead and coordinate any repairs/renovation projects
- Maintain facilities and equipment by conducting inspections on a regular basis to determine needs, extent of service, equipment requirements and personnel needed
- Aid in maintaining a respectful and positive work environment for all staff and guests
- Must have 3 or more years of commercial building experience including HVAC, plumbing and related trades
- Must have demonstrated experience leading and developing others

Preference will be given to candidates with Power Engineering, BST/SMT certifications and previous hotel experience.
