Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum post secondary education required
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in an office, accounting setting
- Experience in administrative duties & payroll functions
- Experience in Accounting & using Sage Software or similar
- Intermediate Computer skills in Microsoft Suite
- Experience with filing Government forms & Grant writing
- Self-motivated ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent data entry & computer skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good Organization and time management skills
- Good Communication Skills both written and verbal
- Works well in a team setting & individually
- This position is full time year-round but Seasonal from May1-Sept.30, Monday-Friday 9-5 in the park office
Job Duties:
1. Balance & prepare bank deposits, record cash receipts to appropriate accounts
2. Cash Management of cash floats and petty cash fund
3. Provide a wide variety of customer services for internal and external inquiries
4. Prepare Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable functions
5. Complete Bank Recs, Credit Card Recs, & other month end duties
6. Prepare packages for meetings and type minutes
7. Complete all Payroll functions and Remittances
8. File PST returns, and other government related forms
9. Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare Month end Financial Statements
10. Other Administrative duties as directed by Manager
