Description

The Concession Manager is responsible for managing all food services and the kitchen operation. Key responsibility is to ensure the patrons safety, staff safety, and enjoyment of the Park and surrounding area.  The successful candidate must:
-build and maintain a high level of staff training, customer service, and good staff morale in the concession;
-maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety within the Food area, in accordance with health regulations and the Parks health and safety standards;
-ensure that the scheduling, service standards and inventory levels, are monitored and maintained;
-monitor inventory control system for Food sales & place orders;
-accountable for all sales and revenues of food;
-operate and train staff how to use required equipment;
-communicate professionally in both verbal and written form, to effectively and diplomatically resolve problems relating to complaints or difficult customers;
-have the ability to recognize, react quickly, and think clearly when emergency situations or confrontations occur, to contact Park Management, local emergency services and/or law enforcement authorities as required;
-perform administrative functions such as completing required forms and other duties as requested and provided/directed by Park Management;
-be comfortable working as part of a team, but also be able to work independently with or without direction;
-multitask, prioritize, and display effective time management;
-previous experience in a supervisory capacity in food services would be an asset as well as holding a first aid certificate.
Hours of work may vary, so flexibility is required.  Must have Food Preparation and Food Service certification and knowledgeable of OH&S regulations.  All employees of the Park must possess a strong work ethic and be committed to our park, patrons, and surrounding communities as you will be a role model and mentor.
