Lynch Property Services Inc. is currently seeking candidates to fill a full time landscape/building maintenance worker position. If you have applied for this position in the past, please feel free to re-apply.
Candidates must be responsible, self-motivated and physically fit.
Shifts are typically from 5:30am to 2:30pm but may vary. Candidates MUST HAVE HAD A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE for more than 3 years, CLEAN DRIVERS ABSTRACT and the ability to get to and from work as public transportation may not be available. Because of the nature of this job, employees must not have a criminal record, and a background check may be required.
Duties will include shoveling snow, spreading ice melter, landscape and lawn care duties, litter pick up, inspection of facilities, as well as basic indoor/outdoor maintenance and repair work. Employees will also be required to operate hand tools, power tools, snow blowers, lawn tractors as well as basic lawn care equipment.
Any certifications such as skidsteer operator, pesticide applicators license, building systems certificate, etc. would be an asset but is not required. Experience in lawn care, carpentry, landscaping, pest control, HVAC, towing light duty trailers, operating zero turn mowers or any other trades would be considered in determining wage.
There are opportunities for advancement in other divisions after probationary period, including wage increases. Health and dental benefits available after probationary period.
Shifts are Monday to Friday but employees must be available to work a minimum 1 weekend per month.
